THE INTERNATIONAL FLUTE COURSE
At Woldingham
The Woldingham Flute Course has for the last 15 years, been the standard setting summer flute course. It remains at the forefront by being innovative and by providing a great flute playing environment with teaching from world class tutors.
It attracts students from around the globe and is truly international.

The Performance Course:
Following the format of the last few years, this course is open to all ages and all abilities. We offer individual lessons with Louise Matthew or Gary Woolf, master-classes, choir and chamber music.

The Intensive Course:
Clare and Ian will lead this course for advanced players, offering the opportunity to explore in depth all areas of flute performance and technique. This will include: tone production, finger technique, articulation, interpretation, contemporary techniques.
There will be a limited of places available on this course, so early booking is advisable.

Teacher’s Day: Wednesday 25th July
This is a specially designated professional development day for teachers. Join us for an intensive day led by Clare and Ian, Professors at the RAM and Guildhall, to help develop your teaching skills. Advice given on foundation techniques, teaching strategies, and practice methods. A chance to meet other teachers for discussion and analysis. You can join us if you are booked in for the whole week, or alternatively attend just for the day.
